Today’s forecast shows that monsoonal activity continues again today with storm activity taking place between noon and 10:00 pm. The storm threats are largely lightning, small hail, outflow gusts up to 40 mph, and brief periods of heavy rainfall.

Prescott Valley

Today expect a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11:00 am. Partly sunny, with a high near 93. Southeast wind 6 to 13 mph becoming south in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph

Tonight expect a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 11:00 pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 66. Southwest wind 5 to 8 mph becoming light and variable after midnight.

Sedona

Today expect a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11:00 am. Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 97. East wind 6 to 10 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 17 mph.

Tonight expect a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 11:00 pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 71. West wind 5 to 7 mph becoming light and variable after midnight.

Flagstaff

Today expect a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11:00 am. Partly sunny, with a high near 83. East wind 5 to 13 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

Tonight expect a chance of showers and thunderstorms before 5:00 am, then a slight chance of showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 55. West wind 3 to 7 mph. The chance of precipitation is 30%.
