Update: The roadway is reopened.

At 4:07 pm today, the Arizona Department of Transportation updated the I-17 closure due to the Perry Tank Fire.

ADOT, Arizona Department of Transportation, I-17, road closure, Perry Fire,

I-17 southbound is closed at milepost 259, there’s a heavy delay in both directions. If travel cannot be postponed, motorists can travel through Payson or Prescott to reach the Phoenix metro area and points beyond.
